SILO APPS TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms govern Customer’s use of the Silo Apps service (“Silo Apps” or the “Service”) provided by Authentic8, Inc. (“Authentic8,” “we,” or “us”). By accessing or using Silo Apps, Customer agrees to be bound by these Terms, which supplement and incorporate by reference the Authentic8 Terms of Service at https://www.authentic8.com/terms-of-service (the “Main Terms”). If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Main Terms, these Terms control with respect to Silo Apps.

1. Service Overview

1.1 Description. Silo Apps is an optional capability of the Authentic8 Service that allows Customer’s Authorized Users to launch and interact with software applications (“Apps”) made available within the Silo platform. Apps may be developed or operated by Authentic8 or by third-party providers.

1.2 Execution Environment. Apps operate within an environment managed by Authentic8 as part of the Service. Authentic8 may implement safeguards it deems appropriate to protect the Service, its infrastructure, and its customers. Customer acknowledges that no security measure can eliminate all risk.

1.3 Intended Use; High-Risk Activity Restrictions. Silo Apps are provided to support Customer’s legitimate, authorized research activities within the Silo platform. Except where expressly permitted by Authentic8 in writing, Silo Apps may not be used for the introduction, execution, development, or distribution of malware or other harmful code, nor for the testing, coordination, or launch of offensive cyber operations. Any such activity is strictly prohibited.

2. Customer Responsibilities

2.1 Configuration and Access Control. Customer is responsible for selecting which Apps are enabled, configuring access rights, and ensuring that only authorized and properly trained users access Silo Apps.

2.2 Compliance and Oversight. Customer is responsible for ensuring that its Authorized Users use Silo Apps in compliance with these Terms, the Main Terms (including the Acceptable Use Policy), applicable law, and any applicable third-party terms. Customer is responsible for supervising user conduct within Silo Apps and responding to misuse.

2.3 Silo Apps Content. Any data, files, code, or other materials that Customer or its Authorized Users upload to, create within, or cause to be processed through Silo Apps constitute Customer Data under the Main Terms.

2.4 Prohibition on Accessing Underlying Infrastructure or Other Customer Environments. Customer shall not, and shall ensure that its Authorized Users do not, use Silo Apps to attempt to access, probe, scan, interfere with, or disrupt any Authentic8 infrastructure, systems, networks, management interfaces, control plane, data stores, or other underlying environments, or to access or attempt to access any other customer’s or user’s environment or data.

Customer shall not attempt privilege escalation, environment escape, bypass of logical isolation, or any similar activity intended to circumvent the interfaces, permissions, or boundaries intentionally provided by Authentic8.

3. Third-Party Apps and External Services. Some Apps consist of, integrate with, or enable access to third-party software, services, or external resources. Customer’s use of such Apps may be subject to additional terms imposed by the applicable third-party provider. The Third Party Add-Ons and Third Party Web Resources sections of the Main Terms apply to such Apps.

4. Security, Monitoring, and Abuse Prevention

4.1 Protective Measures. Authentic8 may implement technical and organizational measures it deems appropriate to protect Silo Apps, the Authentic8 Service, and associated infrastructure. Such measures are proprietary to Authentic8 and may change over time.

4.2 Monitoring. Customer acknowledges that Authentic8 does not monitor the content of Customer’s activity within Silo or Silo Apps. However, Authentic8 may monitor the performance, integrity, and security of its underlying systems, including infrastructure-level telemetry, resource utilization, and expected traffic patterns associated with normal operation of the Service. Such monitoring enables Authentic8 to operate, maintain, and improve the Service and to detect, prevent, or mitigate conditions that appear anomalous, harmful, or indicative of a potential violation of these Terms or the Main Terms. Monitoring will be conducted in accordance with the Main Terms and Authentic8’s Privacy Policy.

4.3 Incident Response and Session Termination. Authentic8 may, at its discretion, terminate, pause, or otherwise interrupt any active Silo Apps session, and may disable access to Silo Apps for specific users or for Customer, if Authentic8 determines that such action is necessary or appropriate to protect the Authentic8 Service, its infrastructure, other customers, or the security or integrity of Silo Apps. Authentic8 may take such action with or without prior notice, including where infrastructure-level telemetry or other indicators suggest activity that is anomalous, suspicious, harmful, or inconsistent with the intended operation of Silo Apps, even if such activity has not yet been confirmed to violate these Terms or the Main Terms. Authentic8 may also preserve and review relevant logs and cooperate with law enforcement or other authorities as permitted or required by law.

5. Availability and Service Changes

5.1 Availability. Silo Apps availability may vary based on system performance, App-specific behavior, licensing, or operational needs. Authentic8 does not guarantee the continued availability of any particular App, integration, or feature.

5.2 Modifications. Authentic8 may add, modify, or remove Apps or related functionality at any time, including to address security, licensing, performance, or misuse concerns.

6. Amendments. Authentic8 may revise these Silo Apps Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted at https://www.authentic8.com/silo-apps-terms-of-service/ (or a successor URL). Customer’s continued use of Silo Apps after such changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
